AeroBlok ABT06-10 Series is a revolutionary hydrophic breathable insulation blanket designed for demanding industrial applications.
Aerogel insulation blanket offers a unique integration of low thermal conductivity, moisture resistance, compressive strength and reduced depth making it the ideal choice for reducing energy loss, tight conditions and reducing labour costs.
Its industrial insulation applications are wide, covering high temperature ranges of energy pipeline above and below ground, shipping, high speed rail, LNG/Cryogenic, steam, power plants.
Several traditional insulating materials offer moisture resistance, but while AeroBlok Aerogel resists water absorbtion it is also breathable allowing moisture to evapoate, dramatically reducing pipe corrosion and under insulating problems. This feature allows exisiting water-logged insulation to be over-wrapped with ABT Series restoring thermal performance while drying out takes place.
ABT Series is available in 3mm, 6mm or 10mm thick flexible blanket in widths 910mm and 1500mm, can come pre-cut to your pipe diameters and is very easy to cut to fit complex geometries. Its extremely low thermal conductivity, physical strength and much reduced thickness compared to other insulating materials makes it ideal for tight spaces and reducing costs.

Composition
AeroBlok ABT Series is composed of proprietry silica aerogel reinforced with a non-woven fibre batting. It has the lowest thermal conductivity of any industrial insualation, easy to use, flexible and environmentally safe.
